The 2021 Salomon S/LAB Shift MNC Ski Binding represents a revolution to the resort/touring world. The S/LAB Shift features a true din toe and heel and with the simple flick of a switch transforms to a pin toe giving a full range of motion when hiking and kick turning. The flexibility to hike up using the pin toe and ski down with a “regular” alpine binding or to use the binding inbounds as a normal alpine binding sets it apart from everything else on the market and truly makes it the safest and most versatile binding.

Touring Mode:

Pull back on Walk Block between toe wings to access pins, the move Brake Pad to up position. Depress front Hike Ride Lever to step in, as you step in your heel will fix the brake pad in the up position. Finally pull up on Hike Ride Lever to lock pins for touring.

Ski Mode:

Push the Walk Block back into place between the toe wings and push the Hike Ride lever down to lock the toe into ski mode. Pull the Brake pad forward to unlock the brakes and return the heel to ski mode. Step In as normal and ski.
